# Customise

**CMS UI & Backend Local Customisation** 

1. **Local Setup** → Run CMS UI (React) and backend (Spring Boot microservices) with Postgres, Elasticsearch, Kafka; configure environment files.
2. **Add New Field** → Update UI forms, localisation, backend DTOs, DB schema, and MDMS if it’s a dropdown/list.
3. **Customise Workflows & Rules** → Modify workflow configs, SLA rules, and MDMS masters as per local process.
4. **Update Notifications & Branding** → Change logos, colours, SMS/email templates, and asset hosting for local identity.
