A decision support system (DSS) is a composite tool that collects, organizes and analyzes business data to facilitate quality decision-making for management, operations and planning. The DIGIT National Urban Dashboard offers a consolidated DSS tool with rich and interactive dashboards that provide a complete visualization of the key metrics.

Public Grievance Redressal Dashboards
It will enable State Admin to measure various data metrics like total complaints, status of complaints, monthly and weekly trends, top complaint categories, ULB wise performances, SLA breaches, source of complaints etc.
Property Tax Dashboards
It will enable State Administrators to measure various data metrics like total collections, total properties assessed, monthly and weekly trends of tax collection, ULB-wise performance, and property usage type
Trade License Dashboards

An illustrative guide to using the DIGIT urban dashboards
The DIGIT National Urban Dashboard offers a consolidated DSS tool with rich and interactive dashboards that provide a complete visualization of the key metrics.

This section offers an illustrative guide on the National Urban Dashboard views and drill-downs available for various metrics.
The states are colour-coded as per the status of implementation. Hover over each state to know the number of ULBs in the live states and those under implementation.
Click on any of the live states to know the detailed view of live ULBs across different modules. Click on the left arrow button to go back to the previous view.
A bird’s eye view of all major KPIs of all modules across all the states is summarized in the overview card. Click on the overview card to see more details in the Overview dashboard.
A snippet of the revenue elements and service elements is presented in the individual modules cards. Click on any one card to view the dashboard of that module in detail.
To learn what each attribute stands for, hover over them and the detailed explanations are displayed.
There are filters available to view the dashboard according to date, state or ULB wise.
The Date range filter has preset date ranges such as ‘This Week’, This Year’, Today etc. The default view is This year( Financial year).
By setting the start and end dates in the calendar, custom date range filters can be applied to the dashboard.
The Date Range filter will apply to all metrics and all cards except the metric ‘Today’s Collection'
The State and ULB filter will apply across all cards.
While applying State/ULB filter more than 1 state and 1 ULB can be selected.
The denomination is applicable only for financial metrics. The default denomination is Lac. But Cr Rupees and Unit Rupees are also available.
When a filter is selected, it gets highlighted below the Filter belt. To remove the filters, either click on the x next to each filter to remove them one by one or select ‘Clear State Filters’ or ‘Clear ULB Filters’ to remove all corresponding filter categories together.
Each module dashboard can be downloaded/shared via email or even shared via Whatsapp. Each individual cards (graph/overview) can be downloaded or shared as well.
To download or share the entire dashboard or any one card, click on the 3 vertical dots symbol on the top right corner. Then click on the respective icons to (download/share via email/share via Whatsapp) from the dropdown.
To view data points on the graphs, hover over the line/bars for line/bar graphs or on each slice for pie graphs. For pie graphs, the absolute value of the slice and the % contribution of each slice will be displayed on hover.
The tabular charts in respective modules can be sorted ascending and descending by clicking on the column header once. Clicking on it again reverses the sort. Non-numeric columns will be sorted alphabetically or in reverse order upon clicking on the column header.
The toggle bar is used to switch the view between boundary and department/type. Click on the toggle switch to view the table Boundary-wise and Usage-wise.
The tabular column can be drilled down to see data up to ward level. To view this, click on the state for which the data needs to be viewed in detail.
The table displays the data ULB-wise.
To drill down even further, click on the ULB of interest. Then the table will show the data ward wise. This will be the last level of drill down.
In the search bars when the state/ULB names are entered then the relevant results will start getting populated.
